Durrants Estate Agents HIPS - Home Information Pack

Durrants were ready and organised for 1 June, as required by Government, to implement HIPs on all residential properties. We were as surprised as the rest of the industry by the announcement, on 22nd May, that the start date was to be revised.

As things stand at present, HIPs will now be introduced on 1 August, but only for houses with 4 bedrooms or more. Are the Government trying to tell us that those of us with smaller houses do not need to consider the environment, I think not, but they are certainly giving that impression.
