Joined the company in 1996 with nearly 20 years experience in estate agency under his belt. In 2008 he gained membership at Fellow grade of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers, and more recently in February 2010 became a Member of the Association of Residential Agents. With a strong belief in training and qualification for estate agents, he ensures that there is at least one qualified estate agent in each of our offices.
Teresa joined as a Saturday and holiday cover assistant in 1996, which led to more regular hours in 1999. She qualified as a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents in 2004. Teresa has principal responsibility for residential lettings and became a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents in 2010. She is well known in Halesworth and is involved with many groups outside the office.
Guy graduated from the Royal Agricultural College in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Property. The opportunity to join Durrants appealed as the possibility of working within a multi discipline environment was too attractive to turn down, and he joined the company in December 2009. He is currently studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying and hopes to complete his APC to become a Chartered Surveyor.
Jenny is a native of Halesworth having been born & brought up in the town. A very experienced secretary having worked previously for local accountants & solicitors, the last 8-10 years has been spent in the plumbing / heating / electrical sectors & this will be very useful in the lettings department of the company where she is now based. Jenny is well known locally for running the local darts leagues over the years.
Graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) degree in Communication Studies. He has been involved in estate agency since 1996, joining Durrants in 2004 as a negotiator. Appointed assistant manager in 2007, took over the reins of the residential department in 2008. Member of the National Association of Estate Agents, qualifying in 2007. Away from the office John is an avid sportsman & is particularly keen in football.
Joined the company full time in the summer of 2005. Stacey was the first member of staff to qualify as a letting agent and has subsequently qualified as an estate agent, passing both of the technical awards with flying colours and being awarded the Student of the Year Award from the Suffolk branch of the National Association of Estate Agents in 2009.
Ben graduated from Bath University in 2002 with a BSc in Geography, then subsequently studied and gained a Diploma in Real Estate Management in 2008. He joinined Durrants in February 2010, and continues to specialise in residential property sales, particularly country homes, and is currently studying for his APC in order to become a Chartered Surveyor under the RICS.
Bernadette joined the company in 2009. Her main role is as a Sales Negotiator in the Diss office, but she also spends 2 days a week working at the Harleston office. She has a lot of experience in many aspects of estate agency but it is the sales negotiation and sales progression that she really enjoys most. Away from the office, she and her husband try to emulate Tom and Barbara Good on their allotment.
Ran her own business with her husband for many years and then became a branch manager for a greetings card retailer. Irene joined Durrants in 2002 and really enjoys the challenges involved in the local residential market. She enjoys working with the dedicated and professional team at Durrants, and wishes she had become involved in estate agency years ago.
Andrew started work in estate agency in 1973 following a Business Studies course at college. He joined the National Association of Estate Agents, becoming an Associate in 1977, a full Member in 1981 and a Fellow in 1984. He is a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Andrew has owned his own business and been a Regional Director of a national chain.
Fran joined the company in 2008 after completing her A levels. She has worked in the Residential Sales department since then and successfully completed NVQ levels 2 and 3 in the sale of residential property. She has also gained the NAEA Technical Award in Residential Estate Agency which qualifies her as a member of National Association of Estate Agents. Fran is a keen horsewoman.
Roseanne joined the company in 2000 initially in the Halesworth office before moving to Southwold as office manager in 2007 when Durrants acquired the estate agency & holiday lettings business of HA Adnams. She is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents & has been involved in residential agency lettings for 25 years. Roseanne is Southwold's office manager and has responsibility for the residential sales.
